Who We Are

SpectraLight began laying foundations in 2007 that would help change an entire industry. Our first major breakthrough was the development of advanced ultraviolet disinfection systems for swimming pools and spas. Changing an industry that hasn't changed much in over 50 years is not an easy task. Fortunately, we had a little help from the researchers and the media. The dangers of pool chemicals were exposed, fueling a powerful movement away from chemical based disinfection. Today, SpectraLight is still an inventor company infused with a pioneering spirit. From day one, we set out to create an enterprise that is keenly focused on its customers, its strengths, and its future potential. Our variable speed pool pump continues our core philosophy of developing products that save energy, save money and make swimming pools easier to manage.

Customer Focused

We get excited every time we hear another SpectraLight success story. And these days we get a lot of them. How about the high school swim team’s practice pool that was placed inside an air dome - the chlorine (chloramine) fumes were bad – so bad the students could hardly breathe. It’s hard to practice your stroke when you have to get fresh air every few minutes. SpectraLight was installed and the problem was gone in 24 hours. How about when the US Navy called with high bacteria counts in their dolphin pool. SpectraLight now protects the dolphins while the dolphins help protect our country. A fascinating story. And then there are the stories from children who are able to discover the joy of swimming, after previous allergic reactions to chlorine. At the end of the day, it's about protecting what's important.

Our Future Together

We are all charting a course for the future. We are fortunate to be here at a time of sweeping change in the pool industry. The pool industry has changed more in the last few years than it did in the previous 30 years. UV disinfection and variable speed pool pumps ar well positioned to grow and prosper. Together, we will help shape our future through socially responsible living, which now includes socially responsible swimming pools and spas. Together we will lower the global dependence on chlorine and chemicals with UV and reduce energy use with variable speed pool pumps. in the end, it's about helping to protect what's important.
